Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Accepted Answer

No. Most of our customers are not. You can leave a key with the concierge or security desk, share a smart-lock code, or be there yourself - you choose the access method when you book, and the cleaner gets exactly those instructions.

Are your cleaners insured and background-checked?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every cleaner is a StrongHold employee on our own visa, background-screened before their first solo visit, and covered by our public liability insurance. Insurance provider and coverage details are available on request.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is included in the price. Products, cloths, mop and vacuum all come with the cleaner. Most Dubai agencies add AED 10 to 20 per session for materials - we do not. If you would rather we use your own products, say so in the access notes.

What's the difference between regular and deep cleaning?

A regular clean maintains a home: surfaces, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, on a 55-point checklist. A deep clean resets it: a two-person team, roughly two and a half times the time, working inside cabinets and appliances, removing limescale, and cleaning skirting, frames and vents.

Do you clean on Fridays, weekends, and public holidays?

Accepted Answer

Yes to all three. Friday is a normal working day in the UAE, though we hold the 12:00 to 14:00 slot back for Jumu'ah prayers. Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days. Public holidays are bookable at a 20% holiday rate, which is shown on your quote before you pay.

Can I request the same cleaner every time?

That is the default, not a request. After your first clean you tell us whether the cleaner was a fit, and if they were, that is who comes back at the same slot. If they are on leave we tell you in advance who is covering.

How do I pay - and can I split the payment?

Accepted Answer

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe. Tabby is available on totals from AED 200, splitting into four interest-free instalments. Cash on completion is available for one-time bookings under AED 500. Every payment gets a VAT invoice by email.

What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Accepted Answer

Free cancellation or reschedule up to 12 hours before your slot. Inside 12 hours we charge 50% of the visit. A no-show, where the cleaner cannot get access, is charged in full - which is why the access details at booking matter.

Question 9

Do you work in villas and offices as well as apartments?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Villas are usually a two-person team with time allowed for extra bathrooms and outdoor areas. Offices, clinics and retail units are cleaned outside your working hours and invoiced monthly with a proper VAT invoice.

What if I'm not happy with the clean?

Accepted Answer

Tell us within 48 hours and we send a team back at no charge. If it is still not right after that, you do not pay for that visit. No form to fill in - a WhatsApp message is enough.
